The School of Public Health at the University of Haifa was established in 2003 to educate the next generation of public health leaders and to address the health of Israel’s citizens and populations worldwide through learning, discovery and communication. The school has awarded over 800 degrees in public health, health administration and applied nutrition, both at the masters and doctoral level. From its inception, the School of Public Health has adopted an interdisciplinary approach and has drawn upon an interweaving of different medical and social sciences to better understand medical care, health-related behaviors and the prevention of disease.
